Sequence of articles

Hello friends,

I want to give you some information about how I plan to publish my articles and analysis. Especially since I believe that most of you are waiting for the military analysis :-)

My intention is, to first write down all the articles, that delivers backgrounds of the war. So, everyone understands better, what it all is about and what objectives the different parties have.

When we understand the politics around the war, then we will be able to understand better, the decisions of the political and military leaders on the battleground. Many things, that we would assume as major failures on the battlefield will be much clearer, if we understand the political restrictions, objectives, and circumstances around it.

We need to remember always what Clausewitz said: “War is a mere continuation of policy by other means”.

It would be totally wrong to analyse what is going on at the battlefield, without having a good knowledge of the political circumstances and objectives.

That’s why my next article will describe “The path to the war in Ukraine”.
