Hello community,
I have a good and a bad message for you.
Good:
Today I will interview Andrei Martyanov. We planned it in July but we spontaneously rescheduled it to today 😊
Which is great, I absolutely looking forward to a great interview.
Bad:
I can’t do the usual “community question collection” with mentimeter.com as I did with Larry Johnson and Scott Ritter. I apologize for that. You will need to live with my questions only.
Andrei Martyanov:
Who is Andrei Martyanov?
Well, I assume, as with Scott Ritter and Larry Johnson he is well known and should not need any introduction.
However, here are some facts about him:
He has been a Soviet and Russian Navy Officer.
He emigrated to the United States, where he lives now already since many years.
He is the author of several great military books which I can fully recommend.
He’s a friend of Larry Johnson and he also is doing regularly shows with Scott Ritter.
He released several very interesting analysis and facts about all kinds of missile technology and their tactical, operational and strategic mission profiles.
He’s regularly writing news and analysis on his blog. I fully recommend to follow his work.
He is also regularly releasing video analysis on YouTube since many years. Here is his channel.
He was/Is a friend of Andrei Raevsky (“The Saker”).
Here you can find some of his books:

https://www.claritypress.com/product/the-real-revolution-in-military-affairs/

I follow his work for many years and I discovered his blog through Andrei Raevsky, The Saker.
I’m looking forward to a great interview about current developments as well as some strategic and operational topics.
Best wishes
Aleks
A request from the audience! Please echo Martyanov's signature "Hello, it's me again!"
Granted, it's not true, but it would be funny.
I used to read the saker every day, there hasn't been anything to replace it in the four months since he froze the site, thesaker.is where the archive is available still, for now.
Hint hint , wink wink
