I used to read the saker every day, there hasn't been anything to replace it in the four months since he froze the site, thesaker.is where the archive is available still, for now.
I've read his books after seeing mention at the Saker. I'm looking forward to his next book, too.
As the collective west's failures accumulate I'm left with the adage, "failure abroad, repression at home". Czech President Petr Pavel's recent statements haven't helped. It's good that there's an articulate opposition to the gaslighting - looking forward to an interesting interview.
I believe we are all together in this madness... :( Wish to find a place to settle outside Davos's reach... Once I dreamed about Aussie and Canada, but now they are like Mordor... what a pity :(
The current transition started with the boomer generation and the cycle locked in with the advent of US dominated social media and influence of the internet from the mid 90s. Even if you had mentioned NZ, same same. No escape in the anglosphere.
Hello Sir. If I may suggest... try to arrange an interview with Tom Luongo.
Simplicius, Your friend Mike and Martyanov are more military guys... I believe You and Tom could be more on the economic side of this struggle... maybe You together could arrange a path to understand what's going on...
Aleks, as soon as I'm able which is tomorrow, my birthday, I plan to become a paying subscriber. I'm not on Andrei Martyanov's blog but I buy him coffee.
A request from the audience! Please echo Martyanov's signature "Hello, it's me again!"
Granted, it's not true, but it would be funny.
Hahaha nice idea :-) But I think it would be a little disrespectful ;)
Maybe if there's a second time. ;)
I also learned of Mr. Martyanov through The Saker. His emphatic style sticks to the mind.
I believe we all are so scaried from this situation that we need to laugh and smile
Fortification of the mind is just as important as fortification of the trench line.
Indeed Sir

Hint hint , wink wink

I couldn't even think that the places where they shot LOTR would really become Mordor... so sad! Too sad to even write it... :(
I wish it could be an illness related to 5 Eyes... but no, same thing here in europe. We are Mordor as well.. :( :( :(
Pavel is an anal pore and makes me ashamed of owning my CZ rifles and shotgun. At least my shotgun is made in Turkey.

Hello Marco. You're entirely right.
I planned to start another interview series from September onward.
But this time with geopolitics experts and economists.
I'm already in discussion with some.
Thank you for proposing Tom. I'll take a closer look at his work.
Hope You like him...
If only he could speak a slower and easier english... :) :) :)
Andre's English is impeccable and rivals most native born englishers
I'm writing of Tom's one... as a foreigner I find he's very difficult to follow... Martyanov's, Col Mc Gregor one's are very understandable...
Excellent! He's a riot!
If you're referring to Andrei Martyanov, I fully agree. He nails it every time with his quips!
A question:
Why such current
emphasis that US is “innocent” of Nordstream pipeline destruction?
Is it an attempt to prevent Germany’s 180 degree change and reaction and -- the end of NATO?
My SWAG is that this provides a pretext to throw Ukraine under the bus, if this becomes necessary.
Awesome Aleks!!!
Excellent! Mr. Martyanov's blog is a must read.
May I suggest an economic interview with Jim Quinn, from https://www.theburningplatform.com/
? He has the pulse of the economy and how The Fourth Turning is shaping the US modern history.
