Couldn’t this in the long term have a demoralizing effect, damaging unity, trust, and discipline, both in the military and the Russian civilian population, which ultimately outweighs the benefits? While clever in the short-term, doesn’t such PSYOPs damage the larger civilization-building purpose of the SMO? Does the Russian leadership understand how such stunts plays into the information war?

However, testing your weapons in live action is the best way to find out.
